MASc in Mechanical and Biomedical Engineering

I completed a master’s in mechanical/biomedical engineering within the Bone and Joint Biomechanics Lab under the supervision of Dr. Heidi Ploeg. I was working to gather mechanical and morphological data on the hip joint to support machine learning algorithms to select the ideal implant for hip resurfacing arthroplasty. I was awarded both the R.S. McLaughlin Fellowship and the Dean’s Teaching Assistant Award. In 2021, I completed my undergraduate degree in the mechanical/biomechanical engineering program at Queen’s University.
