Marina is a Masters of Biomedical Informatics student working in the Perk Lab (Laboratory for Percutaneous Surgery) at Queen’s University under Rebecca Hisey and Dr. Gabor Fichtinger. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences at Toronto Metropolitan University. Marina’s current research is focused on deep learning models analyzing surgical simulation video for surgical workflow recognition.
