Master's Student
Electrical and Computer Engineering
Queen's University

Stuart is a first-year MASc student in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Queen’s University. His research explores how artificial intelligence and robotic sensing can support tissue identification during medical procedures. Previously, he completed a degree in Mechatronics and Robotics Engineering at Queen’s, where he worked on a vibrotactile guidance system for breast-conserving surgery. His work examined how tactile feedback can help surgeons stay aware of tumour boundaries while focusing on the operative field. Stuart received an NSERC Undergraduate Student Research Award and a Vector Scholarship in Artificial Intelligence.
