Kristina is an undergraduate student pursuing Software Design at Queen’s University. She is currently working with the Medical Computing Lab under the supervision of Dr. Randy Ellis, as part of the Undergraduate Student Summer Research Fellowship. In 2024, she received an NSERC USRA for the development of an application to translate coordinates from histological sample images into real-world probing coordinates. She continues to research software development for the reliable acquisition of mass spectrometry images. Kristina is heading into her fourth year of studies and is expected to complete her undergraduate degree in April 2026.
