Med-i CREATE trainees recently took part in the third annual I-EDIAA in Health Sciences Research Symposium, hosted by the Translational Medicine (TMED) Student Society at Queen’s. The event enhanced their knowledge of I-EDIAA principles in health sciences through a keynote address and a panel discussion focused on AI and technology in healthcare from an I-EDIAA perspective.
This valuable experience helped the trainees deepen their understanding of equity, diversity, inclusion, accessibility, and anti-racism within the realm of advanced medical research.
