Katherine is currently a PhD student with the Queen’s School of Computing under the supervision of Dr. Randy Ells. She completed her undergraduate degree in Computer Science with a focus in Data Analytics and a Master’s degree in artificial intelligence from Queen’s University. Katherine’s research uses machine learning techniques to analyze boarders of mass spectrometry images of cancerous tissue with the goal to better understand tissue and tumor boarders. Her work has been published in the Journal of Computer Assisted Radiology and Surgery (CARS).
