Katie completed her MSc in Translational Medicine at Queen’s University after completing a BSc in Neuroscience and Mental Health at Carleton University. Grounded in patient experience and outcomes, her current research models the relationships between quantified histological features of bladder tumours and outcome timelines. Her team is working collectively to establish an objective and clinically useful risk scoring strategy for the disease using clinical data and AI-based image analysis.
