Maha is an MSc student in the School of Computing at Queen’s University. She completed her HBSc in Computer Science with a double minor in Biology and Chemistry at the University of Toronto. Maha’s current research focuses on utilizing deep learning techniques for real-time medical image segmentation and navigation in the field of computer-assisted surgery. She is actively involved in research at the Medical Informatics lab and the Laboratory for Percutaneous Surgery, where she explores innovative applications of technology in healthcare.
