Chris is a PhD student in Computing working in the Laboratory for Percutaneous Surgery at Queen’s University. He completed his BSc in Life Sciences in 2021 with a Certificate in Data Analytics, followed by a Master’s in Biomedical Informatics in 2022. Chris’ research is in using deep learning for medical image segmentation and developing a navigation system for breast cancer surgery. Recently, he has been working on deploying the software in the operating room and aligning the results with metabolomics data.
