Alumnus

Lauren Zelko completed MSc from department of Medical Biophysics at Western University. She was co-supervised by Drs. Sarah Mattonen and Timothy Nguyen. She received her BSc from Western University in 2020 from the department of Medical Biophysics and completed two undergraduate thesis projects during her undergraduate degree. She also completed her internship with Southwestern Public Health developing a facility outbreak database and reporting tool.

Lauren’s current research involves utilizing radiomic data from pre-treatment CT images as well as clinical data to create machine learning models to predict patient outcomes post stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT) for patients with bone metastases.

She is working as a Postgraduate Research Assistant at Robarts Research Institute
