Mahmoud is a software engineer interested in machine learning, implementation of parallel algorithms, and ethical hacking.  Concurrently while completing his BEng in Software Engineering at Concordia University, he acquired several years of industry experience. As an immersive environment developer at CAE, he worked on developing and enhancing software components used in full-flight simulators. At Conova AI, Mahmoud contributed to building cloud applications, emphasizing seamless data integration and preparation essential for AI model development and deployment.  In the Simpson lab, Mahmoud’s research interests center on fine-tuning large language models for summarizing radiology reports across patients’ histories.
