Mohamed Harmanani

Mohamed is an MSc student in Artificial Intelligence at the School of Computing at Queen’s. They are a member of the Medical Informatics laboratory, supervised by Dr. Parvin Mousavi. Earlier this year, Mohamed completed their Honours Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science at the University of Toronto. They are a recipient of the Robert Sutherland Fellowship 2022-2023.

Mohamed’s research interests are in bioinformatics, data science, deep learning, and medical imaging. Their research will broadly focus on applying deep learning techniques to cancer classification in medical data.
