Connor Mitchell is an incoming MSc student for 2023 in Statistical Machine Learning at the University of Alberta. He is currently a summer student working at Robarts Research Institute under Dr. Aaron Fenster. In 2022 Connor acquired his Honors Bachelors of Science from the University of Toronto, majoring in Mathematics and minoring in Statistics and Philosophy of Science. Connor’s current summer research is on 2d and 3d-based machine learning models for segmenting kidney tumours in CT images.
