Dashti is a PhD student in Computing in Prof. Amber Simpson’s lab at Queens University. He achieved his MSc in Scientific Computation from the University of Nottingham and his BSc in Mathematics from Koya University. He is a researcher in the field of machine learning and topological data analysis, specifically focusing on medical applications. He stood first in the department of mathematics for his BSc (best student award, 2010). His personal hobbies are sport, photography and creating video content, hiking, and exploring new places.
